On Monday, we hosted the annual Husky Classic Golf Tournament to benefit our athletic program and teams. It was a beautifully sunny day at Los Verdes Golf Course and the golfers brought their enthusiastic dispositions to match.
The second annual "Wacky Sock Competition" brought some serious contenders with Halloween themes and squid on display. "David's Drive" gave foursomes the option to make an additional donation to our athletic program to secure David Maher's golfing skills on the first hole of the course. The evening included another fun Husky Happy Hour, silent auction, and dinner, giving the golfers and other community members a chance to unwind and socialize.
We are extremely thrilled that the day was enormously fun and successful by all accounts. Thank you to all of the attendees, volunteers, and sponsors for their hard work and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year! Go Huskies!
