Life presents us with a lot of life-changing moments. Some good and some bad. Moments that bring us down, we think it’s impossible to rise back up. Moments that move us, and change our lives forever. But let’s focus on the good. I’ve had a lot of moments in my life that have made me into the person I am today. But two of those moments I hold close. Both moments happened this year at various times. And both happened in the form of videos. One video is about a third-grade dropout. While the other is about a hundred-dollar race. I could tell you how each video starts, what happens during, and what happens at the end. Instead, I’m just going to show you one. I figure showing says more.

After watching this for the first time, I had a lot of thoughts. I was aware that not everyone has the same start in life, but never thought about the effects and struggles on a day to day basis. I realized life is easier now than it ever was before. And the opportunities I was given, there would be others who wouldn’t have the same. But, as I kept thinking, a greater realization came and something I think you should know. Even though we all don’t have the same start in life, it is our choice to make our lives better or question why me. And know, what the guy said about none of it being our fault, is true, because life deals us a set of cards we have no idea are coming.
