For 32 years, Rolling Hills Prep has offered a small, collaborative environment where engaged teachers connect with their students, building lifetime relationships in and out of the classroom. Located off Palos Verdes Drive North, our beautiful, green campus is a great place to spend your Middle and High School years. Offering a challenging academic program, our school allows students to excel in their studies while at the same time leading a balanced, meaningful life. From adventurous Outdoor Education trips that bond classes early in the year to a thriving arts and solid athletic program, our goal is to provide RHP students with a safe environment in which they can try new things that often become new passions in life.

Priority Application Deadline

To be included in the first round of admission decisions, applications must be received by Friday, February 2, 2018.
Extended Summer Deadline – May 15, 2018: We have extended our application deadline to May 15 for limited spaces still available in Grades 6 – 11. Applications and supplemental documents must be completed by May 15 for priority review and interview scheduling. We are currently reviewing applications in the order in which they are completed. Applications will not be reviewed by the Admissions Committee until all supplemental documentation has been received.
To apply to RHP, please select the Request More Information box on the right-hand side of this screen and complete the requested information. Our admissions team will then provide you with the application and instructions.

First Round Admission Decision Dates

All first-round admission decision dates have now passed.
We are continuing to electronically send Upper and Middle School decisions on a rolling, weekly basis as applications are completed and reviewed. Once an application is completed, the family will typically receive an admission decision within 2 – 3 weeks. After an admission decision and enrollment contract is sent out to a family, accepted students will have two weeks to submit their deposit and enrollment contract before their spot is released.
In extremely limited cases, families may be offered a spot in our wait pool depending upon available spaces within each grade. It is important to note that we do not rank students in our wait pool and that enrollment continues through August for RHP and Renaissance.

Flexible Tuition Deadline

The deadline to be considered for Flexible Tuition is February 2, 2018.

We recommend families interested in financial assistance apply for admission and flexible tuition as early as possible. We have a limited pool of money available for tuition assistance. As the admission season passes, our ability to offer flexible tuition decreases considerably.
Rolling Hills Preparatory School does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, ethnic or national origin, religion, disability, gender, or sexual orientation in the administration of its admission and educational policies, financial aid program, or athletic and other school administered programs.
