Christina Morse

Director of Counseling and Wellness and Upper School Counselor

Christina Morse obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Philosophy from California State, a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on family therapy from Pepperdine University, and degrees specific to school counseling, school psychology, and administration from Loyola Marymount University. She previously worked at Chadwick as their Dean of Student Support and was a Village School and Middle School Counselor before that. At our school, Christina oversees the entire counseling team and incorporates wellness programs across our campuses. She is also our key administrator during crisis situations involving mental health.

Tia Gacad

Middle School Counselor

Tia Gacad obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of Southern California. She joined our school as a counseling intern and eventually became our Middle School Counselor. Tia works closely with Christina Morse to support our middle schoolers. She is passionate about creating counseling activities and programs and is a valued member of our Counseling Team.

Briar Rose Rood

Counseling Intern

Briar Rose Rood obtained a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences in Criminology with a Minor in Film Production from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Education in School Counseling at the University of Southern California. As one of two counseling interns, Briar Rose collaborates with our college counseling team and shares her time on campus with REACH and the Upper School.
