The AP 2D Art & Design class is the most advanced photography and design class at RHP/Ren and is devoted to fully developing the student’s personal style and skill of expression through imagery. Students spend the year pursuing an artistic line of inquiry for exploration and process building. The year is devoted to developing decision making as an artist and applying the proper application of skills and materials to communicate the chosen message. In addition to their line of inquiry, students delve deep into the history of design over the course of the 20th Century, and the application of design in social service through a months-long investigation into homelessness.
