Drawing and Painting II
How can we explore, discover, and articulate our beliefs as artists within the greater context of community? Students reviewed and expanded upon concepts of drawing and design, including composition, expressive line, light, shadow and color theory. Working in still life, landscape, figure and portraiture art students created drawings and paintings inspired by historical and contemporary artists, and the influence of global cultures. The role of Art and Social responsibility was addressed with mixed media artworks on the theme of home and homelessness.
