A CULTURE OF PHILANTHROPY
Charitable support is an integral part of the tradition and culture of our school. RHP is sustained by the good works and charitable resources of the school community it serves.
Similar to most independent schools, RHP operates without tax support and depends upon charitable gifts that average approximately $4,500 per student to maintain its vibrancy. The federal government encourages philanthropy by allowing charitable gifts to be deducted from taxable income, and RHP's non-profit status enables supporters to take advantage of these tax benefits.
The strength of this school depends not only on the ingenuity and dedication of our faculty or on the formidable vision of our Board of Trustees, but on the willingness of parents, alumni, and community supporters to participate in and contribute to the greater good of the school. Charitable support to the schools has a direct impact on the educational strength of our institution, thus compelling the school community to embrace the opportunity to make a difference in our students' lives.
At RHP we are committed to advancing the school's mission through charitable giving. Our supporters are encouraged to take pride in their caring generosity, knowing that it ensures our independence and maintains affordability that is so vital to the schools mission.
As caretakers of this school with a tradition of excellence, we have a responsibility to sustain and enhance this wonderful institution. We ask our community to give generously, to the extent that every member is financially able. Please know in advance how much we appreciate every gift. No matter the amount, you can make a difference.
