The Applied Music Lab Class presented "The Imagination Concert" on March 19 to an enthusiastic crowd of students, teachers, and friends. The concert featured songs composed and performed by students of the Applied Music Class. In addition, the class produced the entire show. Watch a video of some of the performances below.
Applied Music Lab enhances students' musical performance experience by tasking them with composing and arranging, with great emphasis on creativity, for various musical instrument combinations. Throughout the yearlong course, students learn to compose in various genres, produce concerts, and develop skills such as music analysis and improvisation. We are pleased to feature the students' progress in these endeavors in the video below.
