Soccer is a great game for building stamina as well as concentration and strategy. Our soccer players have fun while building technical development, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Varsity and middle school teams play their home games at our beautiful new campus on our state-of-the-art soccer field.
One team member commented "Our team has bonded really well. We are friends both on and off the field so we work really well as a team. We're all really close and we help each other improve. We love to have new people join the team and we treat everyone like friends."
The boys' soccer program was on hiatus for a time but returned in '08-09. The team is dominated by freshmen and sophomores so we are excited about its future.
To lead the rebuilding effort Sean Robertson a highly successful youth and high school coach is leading the team. Coach Robertson is a tremendous developer of talent as well as a student of the game. Practice is based on fundamentals and teamwork. Improvement is made daily with Coach Robertson's unique ability to communicate and teach the game of soccer.
The girls' soccer team were Harbor League champion in '03-04, and have continued their successful record with additional League championships during the past few years.
Varsity girls' head coach Richard Fernandez is in her first year at the helm of the husky soccer program. Coach Fernandez is a local south bay resident with a wealth of experience coaching soccer on the youth level. He was a very successful soccer player who posses great skill and knowledge and we are fortunate to have him leading the girls' soccer program.
