Volleyball has been a team sport for RHP since its founding. The school has had great success through the years, including numerous league championships for its coeducational Middle School team and an Express League Championship for its Upper School girls' team in 1997-98.

The school is currently fielding an Upper School girls' team with lots of strength, including many club volleyball players, so expectations are high for a great season. With excellent parental support, games have enthusiastic fans and are great fun to watch. The team plays at the Oak Street Gym, a premier volleyball facility with its five courts.

Volleyball Coach Matt Wilkens teaches at the school. He is an alum of RHP, where he was a three year varsity letterman, and the team's most valuable player. During the summer he plays for AVP Beach Volleyball and the California Beach Volleyball Association.
