Welcome to Rolling Hills Prep School, a school that produces successful and happy students. We are very proud of our high academic standards, our warm and supportive community, and our beautiful new campus. We invite you to visit us, both online and in person, to find out for yourself how special RHP is to our students, parents, alumni and friends.
RHP is a strong educational community of three hundred people. Our school size is ideal, large enough to offer an outstanding range of academic courses, arts, and athletics, and one of the country's premier outdoor education programs, yet small enough that every student is known personally.
We enroll not just students at RHP - we enroll families. By joining the RHP family, you will work alongside other adults and young people sharing common visions and values. Together we have developed an environment in which students are challenged by demanding academic courses and supported within a close-knit community.
As our mission indicates, instilling strong character is one of our primary goals here at RHP. Our low student/teacher ratio of less than 10/1 allows close contact between adult and students, so that we can address individual needs and maximize the potential of each young person. Community service is encouraged, not because it "looks good on the transcript," but because working individually and collectively to help others around us is an important part of developing strong character.
Browsing these pages can give you only a brief snapshot of one of the most highly respected schools in the Los Angeles area. On this site you can access details of our college placement, our test scores, our curriculum, and our school's many educational and community activities. To get a real feel for our people and our programs, however, you have to come visit the campus, which I encourage you to do.
We welcome your questions and look forward to meeting you on campus in the near future.
